President, presents a tribute to L.B. Cebik (W4RNL--SK)
on the stage at the Knoxville Hamfest and Electronics
Exposition/Delta Division Convention in Knoxville on
June 14. L.B. Cebik was a world-famous authority on
amateur radio antenna design and had published numerous
books and articles on the subject. He was resident of
Knoxville, past President of the Radio Amateur Club of
Knoxville, and a Life Honorary Member of the East
Tennessee DX Association. |

The University of Tennessee Amateur Radio
Club demonstrated and conducted a high altitude balloon
launch at the Knoxville Hamfest and Electronics
Exposition/Delta Division Convention on June 14. The
club also presented a forum at the 2008 Dayton
HamVention on the subject. Members of the club and their
sponsors proudly pose after another successful launch. |
