πŸ“‘ Supporting Amateur Radio Operators Across Tennessee

Welcome to the official website of the Tennessee Section of the ARRL Our mission is to promote and support Amateur Radio operators across the state by providing resources, training, and community engagement opportunities. Whether you're a seasoned ham or just getting started, we're here to help you connect, learn, and serve.

The ARRL, founded in 1914 by Hiram Percy Maxim as the American Radio Relay League, is a non-commercial organization that numbers within our ranks the majority of active radio amateurs in the USA and is the Secretariat of the of the International Amateur Radio Union. The ARRL is proud of our history of achievement as the standard bearer in amateur radio affairs.

The mission of the ARRL is to promote and protect the art, science, and enjoyment of amateur radio, and to develop the next generation of radio amateurs.

All ARRL members in the state of Tennessee are automatically part of the Tennessee Section. You can join the ARRL online, at any ARRL sanctioned hamfests, and through most ARRL Affiliated Clubs. Please remember: if you are a full-time student under the age of 21, you qualify for a FREE ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP!
